A family owned and run business, Icon Photography Melbourne have been photographing weddings for over 20 years. Our vast experience ensures you are completely looked after throughout the entire wedding process, from first contact all the way to your special day and subsequent album design.

Con and the team of photographers are truly devoted to bringing you iconic, beautiful photos that you will adore forever. Regularly credited with going above and beyond to ensure your day is relaxed, enjoyable and fun.  We don't just have incredible photographers, they are passionate and possesses the perfect calm-nature, experience along with humour to guide you through the most important day of your life.

Rebecca ensures the studio is always running seamlessly. Efficient, organised and just plain lovely, Rebecca will ensure all your questions are answered in the lead-up to your big day.

We create photos that will make your friends envious and your family proud. Most of our packages include a full days coverage and no limit on the amount of photos we take, all turned around in a 2 week period.

  • How do you describe your Photography/Videography style?
    We capture classic, romantic and authentic moments. We evolve with the years, like everything does/should visually, but we keep our style timeless so that it can be cherished and it can remind you of those wonderful moments stepping into the special union as one. Our image quality is second to none, so that you may print any of your images up to billboard size and the grade of your print is visibly superb.
  • In regards to booking your services, how early should we consider this?
    We receive enquiries usually years in advance, so the earlier the better. As soon as you have locked in your wedding date, booked in your venue and ceremony - that’s when we should be your next point of contact to ensure we have availability for you. Once you have booked us in, you can then rest assured that your packages and any extras can be altered at anytime up until the week before your big day!
  • How does travel work?
    Yes we do travel interstate and internationally to capture our gorgeous clients journeys. Don’t be afraid to contact us regarding your wedding if it is within any part of Australia or overseas, you may be surprised at our offers in terms of travel and accommodation. We also don’t charge any travel fee within 70km of Melbourne CBD. That’s a massive area covered. So many clients are utilising the Peninsula and areas alike, knowing that they don’t have to worry when it comes to any extra hidden costs!
  • One/or both of us are slightly shy, and feel awkward in front of the camera…
    We totally understand that every client has a different and beautiful personality. We adapt to each clients individuality and make you feel right at home from the get go. We will softly offer instruction on how to delicately pose together, but we also mainly ensure to capture the free and pure emotion of the moment that you are in! We love to tell your unique story through our experienced eye and lens.
  • How do I lock in my date?
    Once you have contacted us and we confirm our availability, we will send you a quote, based on your requirements. Our quotes are usually extremely competitive to ensure your budget is considered along with generous inclusions. Once you have accepted your quote, we require a small non-refundable deposit to be paid to secure your date with us. There are then only two more payments with us, three months and then one month before your special day!
  • How do you work on the day of our wedding?
    We like for your day flow with your unique traditions. We are masters in a vast majority of religions and traditions and we understand how to capture all of these as your day unfolds. We are understanding and compassionate. There is a greek saying “Philotimo”. We strive to uphold this saying. We offer authenticity and respect to all with our open heart and soul. You will be made to feel like the most important person in the world on your special day, while feeling super at ease and enjoying every moment in our company.
  • Is it possible to tentatively hold a date?
    We understand the pressure of your wedding planning so we have made the decision that we do allow for some cases of tentative date holds, pending the time of the year and the length of the hold.
  • We’d still love to have a pre wedding shoot with you, even though you’re unavailable to provide services on our set wedding date.
    We can absolutely be considered and booked in on a separate date for a pre-wedding photoshoot. This is a great idea to look into as we document the pure love and joy between you both before you walk down the aisle. With your choice of any location, we will capture these special pre-moments and we can even help with printing and framing of your exclusive story to showcase on display as guests enter your amazing venue on your wedding day/night.
  • How many images do you provide from the day and will these come with a watermark?
    We provide unlimited images taken within your timeframe of your day. All of your images do not have any watermarking on them.
  • How do we receive our images?
    Just 2 weeks after your wedding day is when you will receive an online link to your wedding images via Dropbox. These images are all in high resolution and all superbly colour corrected, ready for you to share with your family and friends.
  • How can we see your albums in person?
    Yes. Our studio is located at: Waterman Business Centre Chadstone Level 2 UL40/1341 Dandenong Rd Chadstone, Melbourne Victoria 3148 Our location is very important to us and our clients to ensure easy accessibility, being central to the vicinity of Metro Melbourne.
  • Can my deposit be refunded or transferred?
    Only due to the current Covid crisis are we understanding when it comes to transferring your date. If you need to change your date due to Covid, we will happily change this for you, pending our availability of course. We hope this gives some reassurance knowing that you have some leway in certain unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances. Unfortunately, if you have to totally cancel your wedding, your deposit is non-refundable. We put in an extensive amount of time and effort in the lead up to your special day, via email, via phone calls, via in studio appointments and there is also that loss of possible other bookings because of your locked in date with us. So this, in turn, we are unable to refund your retainer.
  • How long until we receive our wedding images?
    We are dedicated to providing our clients with their images 2 weeks after their wedding day. We know how eager and excited our clients are to finally receive their gorgeous images and we work tirelessly to ensure no time is wasted after your big day. We do not like to have your images sitting around for weeks before they are looked over. Our extensive time sorting through your magical day, alongside our colour correction process is the next step for us after your wedding. We absolutely ensure this process is not rushed, but as mentioned we do not want your beautiful memories sitting around when we know we have the expertise to have them worked on and ready for you within 2 weeks!
  • Do you photoshop our images?
    Each and every one of your images is beautifully colour corrected to ensure key light, colour and balance throughout your day. We do apply further editing if you have chosen a luxury album, or prints/framed prints with us - this is when each and every image in your album or prints will be superbly photoshopped to suit your needs. We also offer a photoshopping service if you do not have an album/prints/frames and simply want a bunch of images photoshopped exquisitely, so that you may choose to print them yourself.
  • Please explain the album design process?
    We will carefully select the most special images throughout your entire day to create your Album Draft. Your draft will be provided to you within 4-6weeks. Each page in your luxurious album will be edited as a superb layout to showcase the very importance of your day from start to finish. We will then work together with you to make any changes that you wish to create the most perfect final product. An appointment via zoom is recommended, so that our team can share their screen with album draft, so that you can together make adjustments.
  • How do we receive our Album and/or Prints/Frames?
    Most of the time we will arrange with you to personally come to our studio to collect your items. This is due to the high cost of insurance via Aus Post that we do not want to risk. If you are unable to come to collect these, we can offer an Uber service where we will book this in for you at a suitable day/time.
